Lowlands Nazarene House of Praise Holds Thanksgiving Service on Future Church Site
On November 24, 2025, the Lowlands Nazarene House of Praise (LNHOP) held a Thanksgiving service on the site of their future church home.
LNHOP was planted 10 years ago and had been holding services at the island’s Movietowne cineplex, located in the Gulf City Mall. This service marked a milestone, as the congregation had finally secured land to build their own church facility.
Through the faithful and generous giving of members and supporters, LNHOP was able to finalize the land purchase. For the first time in a decade, the Thanksgiving service was held on the new property, with the congregation worshipping under tents.
The vision is to construct a permanent church building that will serve as a community hub. During the service, a call for pledges was made, and over $150,000 was committed to begin the construction project.
